Chinese New Year Festivities
Emcee Singapore: Charmaine got into the heart of the festive action when she visited Kreta Ayer Square, beautifully decorated with rabbit lanterns and luminous decorations. She was enchanted by the bustling fairs and vendors selling an assortment of snacks and traditional goodies.
She enjoyed the reunion dinner at home with family and loved ones, tossing the yu sheng while rambling all the auspicious phrases for a bountiful year ahead!. And everyone then gathered around pots of bubbling broth to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
It was a nice long holiday break – she spent time visiting family enjoying all the must-have cookies and bak kwa and exchanging mandarin oranges. And catching up with friends at restaurants and at gatherings in their homes.
It was also awesome to see lions dancing at homes bringing good luck for growth, advancement, and success in the year ahead!
