
Mental Well-Being Partners’ Engagement
Emcee Singapore : Charmaine Yee hosted the SG Mental Well-being Engagement event to build a caring and inclusive community.
Mental well-being is a pertinent issue, intensified by the stresses brought on by COVID-19. We need to work together to build a strong and caring supportive community so that no one struggles with mental health alone.
Appreciation was shown to project teams of The Youth Mental Well-Being Network, set up in February 2020. Tokens of appreciation were presented by Dr Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State for Health & Communications and Information and Ms Sun Xueling, Minister of State for Social and Family Development and Home Affairs.
Emcee Singapore: Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and Trade and Industry shared his vision for the SG Mental Well-Being Network. Heartland circles will soon be formed to safeguard the mental health of Singaporeans.Community volunteers and grassroots leaders will be mobilised to counsel residents who are struggling with their mental health and run well-being programmes.
